If you wish to make a Skype conversation more interesting or play a prank on a friend, VoiceMaster can help you. It works hand in hand with Skype and it allows you to adjust your voice's pitch, while talking to a friend.

The application can be installed in a matter of seconds. It works on Windows XP, Vista, Windows 7 and Windows 8. Obviously, you need to have Skype installed and a working microphone if you wish to use this application. You should also know that VoiceMaster is offered completely free of charge.

Once you complete the installation procedure, you must launch Skype and allow the application's connection attempt. VoiceMaster comes with a compact user interface, which displays two wave forms, for incoming and outgoing sounds. If you wish to test the application before anything else, you may click a hyperlink, on the same interface, to call Skype's sound test service.

You can increase or decrease your voice's pitch before or during a call. All you have to do is move a slider up or down. A few basic settings can be found on the same interface, but on a different tab. You can set the application to run automatically when Windows starts up, to pop up when a call starts or ends, stay on top of other windows and so on. It is also possible to select different input and output ports and set up a network proxy.
